The Ministry of Education has set an Advisory Board for the Finnish Board of Film Classification to support its operations. The Advisory Board handles the development trends and operating guidelines of the Finnish Board of Film Classification, submits proposals thereon and enhances cooperation between the Finnish Board of Film Classification and different interest groups.

The Advisory Board shall, during the term from 1 April 2011 to 31 December 2011, comprise the following:
